Privacy Policy
How CreatorPay handles account, campaign, and connected Instagram data.
Effective date: 16 October 2026
1. Information we collect
When you use CreatorPay, we may collect account details such as your name, email address, phone number, account role (creator or brand), location, profile details, and information you provide in campaign applications and submissions.
If you choose to connect an Instagram professional account through Meta, we may receive your Instagram account identifier, username, profile information, linked Page details, media identifiers, and permitted engagement and performance insights. The specific information depends on your authorization and the permissions Meta grants.
We may also collect campaign details, creator compensation and payment status, support communications, device/browser information, IP address, and technical logs needed to operate and protect the service.
2. How we use information
- To create and manage creator and brand accounts.
- To connect authorized Instagram professional accounts and support campaign workflows.
- To process campaign applications, content submissions, publishing requests, and permitted analytics.
- To calculate or display campaign compensation, maintain payout records, and support payments through payment providers where enabled.
- To provide customer support, detect misuse, maintain security, and meet legal obligations.
3. Instagram and Meta data
Instagram connections are authorized through Meta. We request only permissions needed for the features you use, subject to Meta approval. You can revoke CreatorPay’s access from the relevant Meta account settings. Revocation may stop connected-account features from working. CreatorPay is an independent service and is not endorsed by Meta or Instagram.
4. Sharing and service providers
We may share information with brands and creators as needed to operate a campaign, such as approved application details, content submissions, campaign metrics, and agreed compensation. We may use hosting, infrastructure, communication, analytics, and payment service providers to operate CreatorPay. We do not sell personal information to advertisers. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect users and the platform.
5. Payments
Where payments are supported, payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers under their own privacy policies. CreatorPay may retain transaction references, amounts, settlement status, and related records for reconciliation, support, and legal compliance. Do not submit card numbers or banking credentials through general support messages.
6. Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, maintain records, and comply with applicable law. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and deletion requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational requirements. To request account or connected Instagram data deletion, email hello@creatorpay.co.in with the subject “Data Deletion Request”. We may need to verify that you control the relevant account before processing the request. Some records may be retained where legally required.
8. Children and geographic use
CreatorPay is intended for adults who can enter into binding agreements. If we learn that we have collected information from a person who is not eligible to use the service, we will take appropriate steps to address it. The service is initially intended for users in India; data may be processed by providers in other jurisdictions where permitted by law.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The current version and its effective date will be published on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or other appropriate channels.
